A few weeks ago, Sheriff Mike Lewis of Wicomico County thought it was appropriate to make. Moments about peaceful protesters outside of the Baltimore Ravens stadium during a home game in the regular season. These protesters were nonviolent, non confrontational and very respectful, though MikeLewis thought other wise. Mike Lewis decided to take his frustrations to Facebook (picture shown below), he layer removed the post but in a later interview with local news station WBOC was unapologetic about his comments. Below was my response to Sheriff Mike Lewis.

Mike Lewis you erased your post by accident. These are the type of “leaders” we’ve entrusted ourselves with, better yet our children’s futures with. It’s sad to see this is the mentality of some people in general, but for it to be the mentality of someone who holds a position of power is sickening. Using phrases and words like “these poor”, “self proclaimed underprivileged” fist wielding black power activist” etc to describe fellow “Americans” is of poor taste. Mike honestly I pray you see the error in your ways and mature, you have kids who probably look up to you as a role model and adults who look to you for guidance. Don’t forget you’re here to protect, serve, an uphold the justice, equality and freedom we all are suppose to have, even the poor self proclaimed underprivileged fist wielding black power activist.......
